  1. Newhook is in a weird spot, because he is trying to replicate the success Dach had last year. But that opportunity spot is taken by… well Dach.

Also trading Evans we can get a decent bit for because of how good he was definitely.

  2. Newhook is 5-10 😢😢😢Why do the Habs always have the rhe smallest team

  3. lol yeah put armia on the thirdline on his off wing. he will do GREAT there. then we can totally trade him at deadline for chips and maybe dip.

bury armia in ahl. or top 6 showcase him to gussy up his numbers

i like that top kids skill line looks very solid. and then the sherrif and co can mop up

  4. Like the line-up, but Dach,Caufield and Suzuki played pretty well and we need Pezzetta on the 4 th !! cheers

  5. Slav – Dach – Anderson, Legion of Doom 2.0? On a budget maybe, Slav to Leclerc and Dach to Lindros is a step down for sure at this point but maybe they evolve and get there, would be hype.

  6. I would put Ylönen in Armia spot and hopefully find someone that will take his useless ass

  7. That top line won't get tossed around. They are fast and they have dmen on the back end that can defend them too! Theyl be fine

  8. Caufield – Suzuki – Dach

    Newhook – Monahan – Anderson

    RHP – Dvorak – Slafkovsky

    Armia – Evans – Gallagher

    Hoffman – Pitlick – Pezzetta

    Ylonen

  9. So Dvorak, Offman & 7th overall Lias Andersson on the bench ? And no place for Beck / Mesar ? Sounding sad, we got too much talent pushing in

  10. I watched some Newhook scouting reports just for the hell of it and the guy has potential to be a first line player. IMO the guy was not given the ice time in Colorado because they already had their top 6 set in stone. He's only 21 and I can see him easily become a top 6 forward. So sure, experiment all they want. See how he plays with other great players.

Armia has to go man.. Armia on Monahan's line? Do you think Monahan wanted to come back and play a season in Montreal just to play with Armia and Gallagher? Ouch!!! I have NOOOO issue with Montreal waiving Armia and sending him to Laval if they can't trade him. I've been watching Emil Heineman highlights all weekend and that guy is so exciting to watch. He's fast, has a great shot, physical, was great in Laval last season and he's only 21. Armia had his chance and didn't do anything the last 3 seasons. That's 3 strikes for me. At this point, Armia's an anchor on any line. He's only good for one thing, helping a team get a first round pick. No offense Joel, but they have to give someone else a shot.

If someone is still reading this, go check out Emil Heineman scouting reports and highlights. I have Russ Courtnall vibes about this player. Both are fast as greased lightning and both have a scorer's touch. The only thing which I find Heineman more valuable than a guy like Courtnall is that he's more physical. I hadn't even realized it till yesterday that he likes to hit and has grit for a European player.

As for Evans, I don't want the Habs to get him out of town just to get him out of town. I like him as a player. You can't knock his work ethics. But I like Beck more and if they make room for Beck, I won't be too sad to see Evens go.

  11. Let's not get our shorts in a knot, because the training hasn't started yet and that will decide the lineup for the coming year.😊

  12. I really like Jake Evans, it seems like he can do everything…except score. I think the PP kill is much better when he is playing.

  13. One of the content creators I think was Marinaro mentioned he'd like to see th eDach's and Newhooks ..Hoffman get some good ice time so they are more marketable.
Big problem NOBODY is going to give the Habs back what we were stupid enough to give up.We will NEVER recoup the first and second pick for Newhook>>>NEVER.

Something we need to keep in perspective and you can see it in that Hutson highlight in the EURO type hockey and officiating we see no body contact instead stick reaching pretty much the BEST and easiest atmosphere for Hutson.
I have given my opinion on some I consider guarantee failures but for th erest I need to see them in a better NHL like atmosphere before i can determine the ceiling of these prospects.
No question Hutson has the tools but what remains to be seen is how he handles the NHL game smaller rinks bigger tougher better skating players …well the worlds best.

  14. I have no worries about our defense and sure seems having taken Florian that Hughes and Gorton understand we need toughness so those two areas I am good I see a positive destination.
However up front IDK what management is doing seriously like the heaviest draft in many years for forwards and we pick a pile of goalies and a defenseman it really baffle me as management moves from a good decision to a terrible decision and all over the place I have to wonder if we really get this done up front.

  15. The lines will be mixed and matched every which way but loose 10 games in. Whatever works will stick.
