Faceoffs, breakaways, shoot outs, goal scoring, play making, playing just as well defensively as he does offensively, Toews is probably the most well rounded player in the league, there doesn't seem to be anything he can't do.

I read a lot of comments about where you would rank him in a list of best players.
I think I can agree that as a in terms of individual skills he may not be the best : top 10 for sure and maybe top 5.
But still… if tomorrow I get to make my own nhl team, he is the first guy I pick. I want him as my captain to lead my team where it needs to go.
toews isnt the best offensive hockey player because that would go to crosby then kane… but toews is the best pure hockey player in the world. you get the best back checking and defensive player also one of the top 5 offensive players.

now that I think of it, Toews could get 85 points per year. He sacrifices his offensive so he can have a good defensive game. pretty sure this year he had like 4th or 3rd best plus minus in the league
