Lekkerisucki should have been a 3rd round pick at best.
That might even be a reach…
He get's injured every couple of weeks. He is not a good skater, and is slow. He plays a perimeter game, and doesn't go to the net. He has zero physicality, and is very weak.
Allvin only uses 1st rounders on players from his homeland.
Terrible draft record so far for this management team !
Another problem with drafting Swedish born players… They stay in Sweden and waste development years not learning on North American ice suface… The AHL should be mandatory for drafted players!
Lekkermakki is a bust in the making ive been saying it since he was drafted. He might as well be virtanen 2.0 accept jake had size, speed and physical. Lekkermakki has none of that, same iq just a decent shot oh joy. Allvin should have been fired for drafting him

The scouting staff is too "locked on" swedes. Not objective enough; sedins and EP40… only home runs but 20 swedes drafted last 10 years
But the other 3 guys mentioned are not Swedish, so that is where Lekkerimaki comes into play. I am guessing if Zack Benson was Swedish then they would of taken him instead of Willander.
Looking at the comments below the Swedes should leave Canucks and sign for other clubs…….
the hardest thing about the Lekkerimaki drafting is how it reflects on the new management, moreso than the consequences of one year of a wasted pick.
It's wayyy too early to call Lekkerimaki a bust! The kid just turned 19 last month. With that being said, I didn't feel good about the pick when they made it. Joakim Kemell was one of at least a handful of players I would've preferred, but let's give the kid a chance before we judge.
Hindsight prognostications are wasting fans time with kids at 19 years of age.
Kyle's definitely gonna win the grouse grind challenge because of his positive thinking. If he believes he can do it I think he will.
