Going up 2-0 and dominating TB in ECG but losing 4 straight should have been that chip.
Last year was a disaster all around. Jekyll and Hyde season. Need more consistency.
You know, we meme on Kreider and how he could be a librarian, or a historian – but he seems to self reflect very well. It’s a sign of his maturity – which sadly the majority of the team does not possess.
He’s an old soul on a team of young souls.
I can see why Trouba is the captain of this team. Kreider probably can’t relate to the new school and there is nothing wrong with that.
The TB series should’ve sent them on fire for last year. And even last year we had what we needed to win. The expectations this season should be to probably finish 3rd again but we should make a conference championship run. My opinion obviously but that should be the expectations
Team expectations we’re very high last year. I believe this team performs way better when the expectations are low or lower than last year. 2 years ago they weren’t that high, all the way to the ECF. I expect this team to have a much better playoffs this year if they make it. I want them to win more than anything but if I feel like they left everything on the ice I can live with a loss. Last year was horrible because from the eye test, they looked lazy and I feel like everyone was waiting for someone else to be the hero. Every player has to have the confidence to want to be the guy and this team can win. Window seems to be closing fast though.
Great so pretty much exactly what we heard in the exit interviews last year. I like Kreider and I get what he’s saying, and the result was definitely not all on him at all but, this kinda “we’re gonna be tougher, this make us a monster” talk was more impactful… the first….time….
Just empty words in August, Kreids. Show us when the playoffs come around.
