    Just seems bizarre that people in positions of responsibility and authority would act in ways contrary to professionalism, common sense, basic human decency, or simply what is expected of them.

    Yeah this rumor is all about nothing to talk about and it all of a sudden popped up after Bergeron retired.

    1) Bergeron retires
    2) Brainiacs think Bruins need a replacement
    3) They come up with an ex-Selke winner and a team in rebuild mode

    First off Flyers need assets or young players and they don't need a goaltender. Swayman makes no sense for the Flyers. Secondly Couturier is coming off back surgery so everyone thinks he's damaged and will be cheap, he won't be. If Swayman is the main piece then the Bruins are not getting Couturier OR Laughton.

    Honestly I think this trade could work. But I don't want it. I think unless it's lindholm or Mark Scheifele, not a chance. Geekie has Huge potential still. Plus so many young prospects trying to make the cut. Mathew Poitras is a center. Beecher. I mean ego knows. You know you have 2 great goalies. Keep it. Your D is tight. Try Geekie as one of the Cs and give Poitras a try too. The Bruins don't have to go crazy. They have time to try different things. Maybe if your pushing for a spot you make a move at thr deadline. Lysell, forgot about him and his potential. I mean, we just don't know at this point and my view is too not rush it. JVD will I think be decent for them too. They will he ok even without or at least a young guy trying a Center position. Atleast that's what I think.😊

    As you say, no way the Bruins take Peterson, even if Briere retains money. Also seems unlikely they trade for Couturier until his health is proven on the ice. I'd love to get Swayman, though. If they can work a deal where the principles are Laughton & Swayman, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Also, Laughton makes less than Swayman so the cap situation could work depending on any other assets included.

    Couturier isn't going to Boston for Swayman and a 2nd rate prospect. 🤦‍♂️😂 That's laughable. 😂And Flyers are already deep af in net.
