When Kuch scored the winning goal in Game 3 of the ECF against the Islanders, I thought we had a great chance of winning the Cup. When Stammer scored this goal, I KNEW we were winning the Cup. I know there were still more games left to play, but there was no way we weren’t winning the Cup when Stammer pulled this off.

Not really a Lightning fan but this was a feel-good moment. Happy for him.
This is now the greatest goal in 2020 for his return to help win the cup!
The reason Stamkos played was to get his name on the cup…scoring a goal guaranteed it …thats why he sat out the rest of the game.

He tore his meniscus right before he scored. He said he tore it as he skated by Esa Lindell. He knew he was done in that moment! Yet he still scored!
The fact that he can tear a muscle in his groin and the proceed to score is amazing.
