  1. Not really a Lightning fan but this was a feel-good moment. Happy for him.

  2. The reason Stamkos played was to get his name on the cup…scoring a goal guaranteed it …thats why he sat out the rest of the game.

  3. And today news broke that he tore a muscle avoiding the hit on this goal… There will never be another Steven Stamkos.

  4. Came here after discovering that he tore his lower abdominal in that move around Lindell. Makes this goal even more impressive.

  5. So they just revealed that Stammer knew he was out for the rest of the playoffs as he went around the defensemen , aggravating his injury , seconds before scoring…

…and that her wife lost her baby after 21 week of pregnancy few weeks earlier.

    That is beyond human…

  6. He tore his meniscus right before he scored. He said he tore it as he skated by Esa Lindell. He knew he was done in that moment! Yet he still scored!

  7. The fact that he can tear a muscle in his groin and the proceed to score is amazing.

  8. As a Bruins fan, I loathe the Tampa Bay Lightning, but watching Stamkos score this goal warmed my heart. What an amazing moment for him and his team.

  9. may 10th, 2021 and i'm just here to listen to doc say "my goodness right out of a story book and it's 2 to nothing" (bolts fan btw)

  10. I really dont think people know how much that goal meant to the entire team’s final run and their cup win⚡️

  11. When Kuch scored the winning goal in Game 3 of the ECF against the Islanders, I thought we had a great chance of winning the Cup. When Stammer scored this goal, I KNEW we were winning the Cup. I know there were still more games left to play, but there was no way we weren’t winning the Cup when Stammer pulled this off.

  12. Too bad Mike Emrick botched the call on this. Can't think of a weaker line then "My goodness!"
