Yes, very pathetic loss to the Canucks. Unacceptable. I get it they added so many new bodies that it probably fucked with the team chemistry tbh and it's going to take a couple weeks to get guys used to the system and playing with each other. They definitely got bigger and tougher, but I think the absolute best case scenario, they upset Tampa in the first round and then get destroyed by Boston in the 2nd round. If they don't fix that PP and they keep allowing shorties, they're screwed. Teams will eat them alive in the playoffs, plain and simple.
Heres what I do if Im GM instead of Dubas. Trade Rielly and a prospect for Barrie with Nashville. Then use the 1st + Murray to trade for Korpisalo.
Barrie is having a decent year defensively and he might be the best Dman at running a PP with experience doing it with the Avs, Oilers, Preds, Leafs.
Is it to late to fire Keefe and bring in another coach?
He doesn’t need to take the huuuge amount of money. He’s proven nothing in the playoffs to deserve a contract like that. Take the discount to help the team like players such as Mack, Kuch, stammer and so on to win a cup
The PP was an issue last year, too. So, why is Malhotra still coaching the PP? How about getting rid of him now! And if this core can't get it done this season, I'm down with trading Matthews and Reilly.

You forgot to mention Dubas acquiring Jared McCann in order to give him up in the draft – 30 goals now vs. Auston's 28. Just sayin.

whats funny is jon cooper bench them and they repayed him with a 6 – 0 loss too carolina, vasy looks human this year, hope the Leafs beat them within 5 -6 games this year, we should have beat them in 6 last year.
Am I the only one that feels like Keef is acting just as hard headed as Babcock? Babcock was let go in the middle of a Westcoast stint… bench them when they dont produce. The coach of Tampa is doing it.
they need to stop putting rielly on the PP , dude creates so many two on ones going the other way , and that 4 forwards 1 defense on the PP is NOT working so stop , put gustafsson and rielly on the powerplay with tavares marner and mathews
second unit put lijigren and brodie on there with jarnkrok orielly and lafferty
