  1. Looks like we won’t be him getting for Saturday games either now until January. So here are the Islander games that he’ll be missing now, by day of the week:

    – Basically every Sunday game in March and April

    – Some Tuesday games, depending on where he’s traveling to for his Wednesday Night TNT game

    – Basically every Wednesday game

    – Some Thursday games, depending on where his Wednesday night TNT game was (usually when the city is 2 or 3 hours behind)

    – Some Friday games, depending on where he’s traveling to for his Saturday Big Ten NBC game (probably)

    – Basically every Saturday game from October until January (probably—at least a decent number of them), and then some in March and April, depending on where he’s traveling to for his Sunday Afternoon TNT game

It’s only a matter of time before he’s no longer ours. Alan Feuhering is good but he doesn’t come close to Brendan.

Obviously it’s nice that Brendan is getting all of these gigs now, but you can’t commit to essentially a 5-day a week position (in calling Islanders games) only to not be able to call most games that are on those 5 days, when those days make up most of the team’s schedule. He signed a new contract with MSG Networks before last season I believe.
