Haven’t seen anyone post about it here, but interesting what GM Pat Verbeek asked him.
“Everyone asking pretty standard questions. GM was sitting in front of me… probably like three feet away from me and everyone is behind him. He’s not saying anything, and then: ‘How do your linemates tape their sticks?’ I, I didn’t- It kind of caught me off guard at first.”
He goes on to list how a few of his linemates did it and could show you how they do it, but at the time of the question it may have seemed like he fumbled for it. From what we can tell from Verbeek he wants someone thats not only paying attention on the other side of the ice, but on their side as well. pretty cool
