Tom Wilson contract is too long in my opion.
Caps will pay for that in the later years.

I can't picture Wilson on any other team. Ovechkin wants Wilson? Then he gets Wilson.
I'm going to reserve judgment in the Caps -there's a new bench boss coming in.
Wilson is prone to injuries with his style play-so they have him set up when he goes on LTIR again, which he probably will, there will be a chunk of a cap space to replace him.
Sometimes it isn't necessarily about keeping a player, do Caps want to play against Wilson?
I don't, he's annoying and effective!
We might see some strange moves out of the Caps cuz I believe they are making serious playoff runs for the next two seasons while ovechkin is still under contract through 26.
Max Pacioretty is also going to bring some game into Washington.
So yes, we might see some funky moves out of the Caps.. We saw these all-in moves out of the Bruins.
That's really too bad about players going out injured before the beginning of the Season-I'm starting to think franchises are planning it, in order to keep players but get around the salary cap until playoffs -when there is no salary cap.
But they got to do, what they got to do under these new rules.

And I do think Milan Lucic stats will go back up playing in Boston. These players come from lesser teams with lower stats -like Tyler bertuzzi.
I don't think Tyler bertuzzi is going to see those stats again. He came into a franchise that was on a historic record-setting Pace, playing on the line a line with a NHL top scorer?
Likely Lucic's stats are going to take off again, appropriate for his veteran age and experience. Because playing on the Bruins brings up other players' stats- the Bruins make them better.
I think we'll be okay with the center's we have for now, of course we have to add another.
Charlie coyle has remained in the shadow of elite players that were supposed to retire! But he can be a clutch player, it'll be interesting to see how he grows the next couple of years. He's had some of the best mentor player coaches in the NHL!
Pavel zacha had 57 points Bergeron had 58. Zacha's plus-minus rating was only 10 points lower than Patrice Bergeron.
David krejci is one of my all-time favorite players, I still wear # 46. But if his heart's not in it? It's time to go.
In the past, he likes messing with people's minds… I'm still hoping that's the case! But I think mr. Krejci is done
It wouldn't surprise me if the Bruins took the beginning of the season to develop some prospects for winter trade deadline-and they end up bringing in another center next year.
But Don Sweeney always holds his cards close to the vest. Not going to try to predict him.
