Vegas can win the 5 cups, it still won't cause the NHL to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing the NHL in 3-5 years when this smoke and mirrors show is brought into the light
Pretty scummy comparison to human trash like David Koresh. A lot of people in the Leafs org seem to have respected Dubas because he was a good boss who put his employees' human needs high on his list of priorities. Amazing how fast and viciously Leafs media turned on him, after pumping his tires as a "genius" for years.
Vegas won because of Cassidy. He got everyone (including and especially Eichel) to buy in on defense first. Most importantly, he was committed to playing 4 lines of forwards and 3 lines of defense almost equally for the entire season. By the time the playoffs started, they were able to run teams into the ground with their fitness while other teams top lines were exhausted trying to keep up playing 5-10 min more per night. Then playoff injuries made this disparity even more glaring.
Agree 100% what Rosey said about the LEAFS …This will change with NEW GM Treliving …NO MORE Pansy's or Shrimps or Injury Prone Players
