Getzlaf is no puss but Chara would kill him. Guys as big as Getzlaf are actually the best matchup for punches from Chara. Easiest guys he can hit square in the face and both players know it. Smaller guys can actually avoid most of Chara's hits clean and sway him off balance to survive. Getzlaf could be dead meat, those are the big guys Chara eats for lunch as opposed to 6 footers and below in wobble matches of wack a mole
