  1. Why are we trying to trash these players who have been respectful even though they don't want to participate
Stop running with the one negative aspect of these nights
Everybody's voice deserves to be heard
Change comes through love not hate
One player doesn't change what that night means
    Love regardless
Because it's better than the alternative
    Cheers 🍻 lads

  2. come for knies and info on entry level deals…… left after seeing first 11 mins is negative talk and just hot button topics.
not even leading with the Bennington maf almost fight…… smh

  3. We have these problems today because people are compromising! People need to start compromising you don't like something you don't believe in it don't do it.

  4. So what you are saying then is screw his conscience. The guy's religion and viewpoint are important to him.

  5. It's not a shame to me. Have you ever heard of freedom of choice. My god what is this world coming to. You think people should be forced into doing something they dont agree with?

  6. I believe all should be welcomed in hockey just as Reimer says. He says nothing negative about the community or the night. It does not align with his beliefs and he respects others and their beliefs as people should respect his right? In all he was very kind and honest and has the right to chose, his choice does not send hate nor change what the night is about and everyone has the right to chose always

  7. If someone doesn’t want to wear something then they shouldn’t have to you guys are literally bashing him because he doesn’t want to wear a jersey everyone got a choice and you should be understanding that nowadays I feel like this has been pushed at people more more these days at the end of the day everyone got a choice and should be respected for what they choose to do

  8. Watching Flower — literally the human personification of a happy smile — tuning up Binnington — the perfect nemesis with goalie armour that renders forwards powerless — might have brought about world peace.

  9. I dont think Reimer did anything wrong, he cant control what people say or talk about, what he can control is what he wears and what causes he supports… I dont agree with him but Im on his side 100%

  10. And this is hockey NOT the woke Olympics. You are all pathetic soy boy babies. My God

  11. Ok first the dumba hit was shoulder on shoulder second you guys are assuming knies wants to one play in Toronto 2 he still has 2 years of college hockey left if he doesn't want to play in Toronto

  12. I'm going to stop you guys right at the beginning…. sexual preference needs to be kept in the bedroom not constantly rammed down everyone's throat…. and trans issues are another story. Men are men, women are women…. trans are men who think they are a women (still a man). Trans women are women who think they are men (still a woman). All the power to everyone, but its your own business… keep it your own business.
Why do they need everyone else to wear a jersey to be welcome ? Thats the fundamental problem. On another note, let the fights commence….when did everyone become such babies ?

  13. Would maybe be a bit better if James had been honest about his hate instead of giving that bullshit excuse.

  14. All of the comments brushing off the pride night situations are exactly the reason they need to continue to happen. Being LGBTQIA+ is not a choice. The amount of physical and verbal violence, the amount to effort going into removing rights and making the world an even more hostile place to exist in… sorry, but it doesn’t compare to the (overall very polite, from what I’ve seen) criticism some very rich, straight, Christians are getting for choosing to display their bigoted beliefs. It doesn’t matter how “respectful” you are while you’re refusing. It doesn’t matter what empty platitude you try to offer. At the end of the day, your words and actions stand in direct contrast. And clearly Reimer and a lot of other people need to look up the acronym, because LGBTQIA+ isn’t just gay people. But even if it was, I think pride clearly need more exposure if the first thought is just what somebody else is or isn’t doing with their genitals. That tells me that you don’t see us in the community as full, actual people.

  15. Hurleys? Spent alot of time there during my early years in the Military. I really miss that place

  16. Notice how most of the CJ video youtube comments are Pro Reimer and we are the ones who are truly pro-choice

Julian you mention Reimers message being controversial but the woke crowd does the same thing when they hypocritically pick and choose what they are pro about. Like being pro-abortion but not pro-personal medical decisions about taking experimental Vaccines. They are pro-mask but not pro-condom…. (Ok that one was a joke 😉 )

If you go on Steve's podcast its mostly pro-LGBTQ. Steve kind of surprised me too because I know Steve is a decent guy but the fact he turned his back and loyalty on Reimer to support this woke trend did surprise me. I think he will regret it one day.

CJ pointed out the media always focuses on the negative stories like the 3 guys who get cut from the Olympics roster vs the 25 who make it. That's not what this boils down too though.

This is just one cult demanding that everyone think exactly like them, and if they don't get their way they attack you.

  17. Reimer has his rights to wear the sweater or not .So I guess his rights are not as important as his rights. You make me S***.

  18. The left has become very fascist , if your beliefs do not align with there's 100% you should be shamed and rediculd. The irony of it all would be funny if it wasn't so sad to watch. Believe in whatever you want and stand by it don't let the mob dissuade you.

  19. You want inclusivity to hockey? Make the equipment and cost to play dropped by at least half. If you're not rich or white. You're not playing youth hockey.

None of these podcasts or personalities will talk about how hockey companies keep minorities out of hockey with $$.

  20. I also hope people who dislike Reimer now take their kids to a drag show. Support the lgbt community or you're a bigot and we'll all be disappointed in your actions.

  21. I'd take exception to the idea of "the refs don't want to take Fleury out of the game." Flower knows what he's doing, when he's challenging Binnington to a fight he's accepting the consequences of the penalty.

  22. How does wearing a jersey show support? Does it change any problems this group is facing? If the NHL wants to support why not invest cold hard cash into meaningful changes. Im not pretending to know what those changes could be, maybe into commercials to educate? I'm honestly not smart enough or in touch with this particular cause to know tbh. But wearing jersey is just virtue signaling imo. And no one should be forced to do what they don't want to (if no one is getting hurt). Just a question, why don't the NHL make their players wear a Chinese flag inspired jersey to support all the sweatshop workers (pick your country, africa for cobalt, India etc)

  23. Banning fighting allows the ability for teams to try and goad the best players on the opposing side into retaliating into a fight and getting kicked out.

It might not be likely, but it will be possible.

  24. James Reimer never harmed any member of the pride community. He never even said anything derogatory towards a pride community member and he in no way prevented a pride community member from living their life freely and openly.
The fact that he is being judged on this is shocking.

I bet hardly any of you reading this has ever attended a pride parade. I guess that means you too are a “homophobic bigot”.

We have come to the day where inaction is a form of hate. There’s something deeply wrong with the direction our world is heading.

  25. I think sports journalists should stick to talking about the game and topics related to it. Spare us the political special group attention, this is where we come to escape the far left loons and the radical right. Sad everyone wants a slice of the latest flavour of the day.

  26. I vividly remember the Price vs Thomas fight (more of a tussle, but anyways). Good times.

  27. let's not forget Chris Reimer's and Provorov jerserys are selling out. It's still your job to report on that, otherwise….

  28. For the record, the guy Peter Holland "fought" (as I recall, Holland was the only one "fighting") had to quit hockey due to the concussion he sustained.

Feels like clumsy movie script, where the team has not even updated their player on the rules properly, and that results in him ending another guys career.
