It looked like pieterangelo was going for a pokecheck, whats the problem?
Bit silly they give awards for regular season. The players that want the cup are often hibernating during the regular season whilst the guys that have secured the bag already are going full try hard to break records with no intent on pushing through the playoffs.
Pietrangelo needs to get more than one game!
Really really want Kraken to win out their series against the Stars and see how they would do in a WCF against Vegas or Edm. And maybe potentially have a shot at the cup… but I don't know if i can see them pulling it off.
I'm occasionally snippy toward Canadians, specifically those who want the Coyotes to fail, so I will say this: if all those Tempe residents are turning out to vote against the arena deal, we can all admit that the fanbase isn't strong enough to support a team in AZ and they should move. If all those residents are turning out to vote for the arena, I'll expect to see dozens of "Wow Arizonans really do care about the Coyotes" comments. Deal?

I hate that Dallas is forced to drop the puck at 8:30 local time (and more like 8:50 because they always wait for the early game to finish regulation). I'm a Kraken fan in Houston and I get that the Seattle home games are going to go until around midnight but think it's ridiculous that it's the same start time when they're two time zones across. Why not start the early game at 6:30 ET/5:30 CT and then try to start the late game around 9 ET/8CT local?

Draisaitl is not the best player in the game. He's just the best player in the playoffs.
PIetrangelo madness was as close to a Slapshot moment we will get in modern day NHL. A single game's suspension is a joke and means that it's hunting season on the opponents' best players.
