The Edmonton Oilers have loaned Tyler Benson to the GCK Lions of the Swiss League to start the 2020-2021 season! With that said, I dare say he may end up being a star for GCK!

Benson is mentioned. Starting a season doesn't mean he won't come back when the AHL starts up (or possibly the NHL / Training camps). Just means he's going to keep progressing like everyone else sent to Europe. Nice that they found a spot for him. While not the ZKC Lions (main club) it's still a club that keeps him practicing.
With the World Juniors coming to Edmonton ONLY this year for a bubble (was going to be Edmonton / Red Deer but they changed it to Edmonton ONLY) with no audience and coming again in 2022 to Edmonton / Red Deer (hopefully with fans in the stands) we'll have a lot of hockey coming up.
Edmonton (and Toronto) proved themselves for the bubbles and many players and teams noticed.
