I really think that people will start to talk about lafreniere the same way they were talking about Dahlin and McDavid early this season. I feel him to be a Franchise player, without a doubt. Will he be in the same class as Crosby, McDavid, Lidstrom, Ovy? Hmmm I'm 50/50. Will he be in the same class than Malkin, Lecavalier, Datsyuk? Yes he will!

I went to last week end's game when the Océanic won 9-2 against Québec city. He, Paré and Zadgorodny were ALL OVER the ice, ending up with 15 points for the three of them.
He may not become Crosbyesque good, but he will be among the world's very best in two or three years.

Interesting at 2:09 is where the Rangers are at now – he's not had a completely fair shot as most 1OA's get top powerplay/EV minutes right away. He's pretty far down the depth chart as he has a a 50 goal scorer and a top playmaker in the NHL both ahead of him on the Left Wing. Feels as though he needs the Rangers to find a more predominant role for him to truly find his game.
