    I didn’t care if he never played for the leafs, this entire fan base just wanted a young kid to live his life. So much fucking potential for anything he chose to do.

    But the thing I’ll remember him for – which all leafs and humans should aspire to is, the fucking positivity he showed in his fight man. Just fearless and positive knowing he was going through hell.

    I remember the loud cheer he got during last season’s home opener. I really thought that he is recovering well. Terrible news

    I thought he was on the upswing. Horrific, poor kid and family. How have we not yet solved cancer but still pour billions into fighting.

    Oh my god, this is devastating, saw the notification pop up on my phone and I literally went into shock, this is horrible. I feel so bad for Rodion and his family. Truly tragic.

    From all the reports Ive read, Rodion was battling glioblastoma.

    This is one of the deadliest and most underfunded cancers that exist. Treatment methods have not changed in over 20 years and survival rates for individuals in his age range are only 20%.
