On the game’s biggest stage sophomore pitcher Blake Coleman had some of his best stuff of the season. Facing the #1 team in Division IV under the lights at Canal Park in Akron, Coleman tossed a gem from the bump to put Tiffin Calvert in a great position to advance into the State Championship.
Blake pitched 7 full innings, allowing 0 earned runs and walking none while striking out 3 Hiland batters to earn UIS Insurance & Investments Player of the Game honors.
