It seems as though Lindy Ruff has been changing up the lineup much more frequently as of late. Obviously, the New Jersey Devils have added some new pieces to their roster, however, there’s still room for more consistency. Also, Mackenzie Blackwood is set to return very soon, but Akira Schmid continues to showcase his talent. Blackwood might have some competition yet again.

i think you hit a lot of good points today. I think 4th Line should ultimately be Bastian/Mcleod/Lazar.
Yes Lindy needs to stop messing with the lines. Its really getting old. Bahl is playing well and is being rewarded now b y sitting on the bench. I thought Hockey was a business? why smith when bahl is actually playing defense?
As much as i like akira, i say let blackwood play, get some good stats and then trade him or something.

Wood has been the worst player on the team outside of a good decent at the beginning and a few bright spots here and there, his time has to be over if we're gonna succeed in the playoffs

The discussion about Blackwood is probably going to be a mute point, he will play 2 to 3 games and then get hurt for a month. McCloud is not going anywhere. I think Wood is gone next year, he will probably want too much money for what he does.
I understand what you're saying about protecting schmid, but look at it this way, when have nerves ever resulted in an effect on schmids performance? He always rises to the occasion. Mac black continuously sucks. But he will get hurt next week anyways. He can't stay on the ice to save his life, and his play is sub par at best.
Not to sound cold or harsh but Mackenzie Blackwood and Miles Wood are pretty much dead wood at this point, both of them make too much money and don't play often enough and when they do, they aren't very good.
