  1. I'm more confident this year than last

We didn't replace anyone we lost so even before the injury bug I knew we'd struggle

Got a lot more hope for this year #GoAvsGo!

  2. Honestly, the fact that they still won the Central after the nightmare injury mountain they climbed is crazy impressive. If they can get more than zero percent injury luck this year, I imagine they end up in the top 4 of the league again, with a strong chance to win another cup

  3. Georgiev was the breakout player that I thought he would be when he joined the team last year. They have addressed their biggest issue this offseason which was the lack of depth. For two consecutive years, this team was plauged with the injury bug. They have to get lucky that this doesn't happen again this year. I know Landy is not playing this year, but this team has no excuse now. They are well-rested from the early playoff exit. I expect a lot from Colton and Wood this upcoming season. It is cup or bust season

THG, I just want to point this out that the Avs play far better on the road than home. So that 6 out of 8 in October is actually an advantage for them. As for giving the Avs fanbase a pass for last year, we mostly did. However, many were upset with the effort that was shown at Game 7 against the Kraken. They looked very apathetic.

  4. I wouldn’t be surprised if Drouin did a Lehkonen, Danault, Radulov (Lots of other players) … leave Montreal and immediately have their best season ever by far.

  5. the fact that we played the full colorado eagles roster for ~10 games last season and still ended first in the division says a lot.

If colton and drouin have break out years we are gonna be hard to beat. Especially if our blue line can stay healthy… last year missing manson and byram most of the season was brutal.

We are a crazy stacked team IF we can stay healthy which always seems to be a problem.
