The Sharks need to show that they believe in him and that he can develop in these games. I get spending a year is a lot but he brings the Sharks up
No way. This is a payment defer team for the next few years. Burning a year is a bad idea. Keep in mind we have an expiring CBA in 2 years. I would not be putting my team in the position of trying to sign major pieces until after that is resolved. You don't want to give out a bridge or worse, an LTC and have a year of it thrown away in a lockout. There is no way a competent GM doesn't slide Eklund's ELC.
Send him down to help the tank. In the last 2 games, he helped us earn two points. Keep your eyes on the prize! 🙂
It would be better if he was competing for a playoff spot and hopefully championship in the cuda IMO.

In regards to LGBTQ endorsed jerseys. More people should be speaking out and following their own beliefs without other's beliefs pushed and forced on them. We should be allowed to only endorse what we believe in and what doesn't go against our personal values. Choosing to not have LGBTQ insignia on a jersey should be the right of the player without ugly and vicious name calling. That doesn't make a person a homophobic! We need to get back to respecting people's personal choices, that is inclusivity!
