It was mail day today and I finally have this beaut in my collection. I would still love to grab an original CCM for Kapanen, but for now, this will have to do. He was my first “favorite” Cane back in the day, so this one hits a little closer to my personal home. Just waiting for puck drop now!

I was fortunate enough to get to go to multiple games of the of the 01-02 season as well as every home playoff game, where I learned to hate the Leafs. Kapanen was my favorite player other than ARRRTUUURRRSSS IIIIRRRBBBBBEEEE. This brought back some childhood memories. I always wanted this jersey! I’m jealous you have one.
With wearing these throwbacks this past year, it was hard to adjust for a game or two. I kept seeing Jarvis and my brain kept telling me it was Kapanen. Or Statsny -> Cole, etc
