With less than a minute to go, the isles had a 2 on 1 and instead of shooting from point-blank, I don't remember who passed the puck back to the trailer. The puck was stolen, TB went all the way down and scored themselves. The Islanders don't like to shoot from the point.
Even though Isles lost they played a great game. It looked pretty even. Just timely goals and Tampa’s goalie is just too damn good. As a Flyers fan I’m not even sure how we took them to 7 games the way we played.
What a kick in the balls this goal was. Islanders were beating them in every aspect of the game. Except for cheap shots, the lightening players were leading by far in dirty plays.
