Gibson already stated he wouldn’t waive he’s no trade clause for Toronto. It’ll be tricky to try and make a trade for Nylander.

I would cry tears of joy if we got him. And yes, he is expensive but he’s that 40 goal scorer that we don’t have and we’re not gonna get until years from now. I also think it’s so unfair how the leafs did not want to pay him that amount of money because of Marner and Matthews, but Nylander is the one that always shows up in the playoffs.
How do these analysts figure out what a team needs? Like I saw an IG post about how certain teams need a two way center or a d-core. Also you said that the Ducks aren’t competitive yet and Nylander going there would be a waste since he’d be too old. Also Toronto is a “win now” mentality. What does this all mean and look like to a new guy. Like what makes a good centerman or a winger good?

Rupper has no idea the dust he’s kicked up from just shooting the shit. Also I’d take that fantasy trade, the only untouchable prospects imo are Zelly and Minty

He could be a valuable addition if we want to climb out of last place quickly. However, we should focus on developing our current talents and prospects: Leo, Terry, and Z, among the few.
He’s not “The Man” kinda player Rupper, nor is he an $11mil per year player either….but Anaheim should definitely do this.

I think it is too soon for the Ducks to go after a high-end player like Nylander. I want to see what all the high-profile young guns can do before the Team assesses other needs. The Ducks do need high end wingers though.
