Our D will be very good this year if we stay healthy. I believe the Habs can contend for the last playoff spot.

I don't see how this affects the Canadiens at all. Once we're ready to compete, we'll have to beat teams like the Leafs whether they have Matthews or not. I think the Leafs should be trading Matthews if they want to take the next step towards actually winning something.
