Must admit I was curious about his kids and if they could one day play in the NHL like their dad. The pressures if being in the shadow of the perfect human must have been emense.
It’s rare to have the kids of a star athlete being as good as their dads. Brett Hull and the Tkachuks are the only ones I can think of who were on a similar star level.

I’m kind of shocked Kevin played in hockeyettan. I played against him a few times growing up, and he honestly wasn’t even AAA level back then

I don’t really think there was ever much hope for any of his sons to play in the NHL.

I got a chance to watch Lucas practice with the VIK J20 team last season once before a Vasteras game, it was kind of surreal.
