  1. Probert was over the hill on Hawks , Behn Wilson , Dave Manson , Al Secord , Curt Fraser ,Dirk Graham all very good players as well a top notch scrappers.

  2. Dan Maloney had the best uppercut I have ever seen. Loved to see him battle. Behn Wilson was also fun to watch

  3. Pretty sure Probert had 24 goals one of his years here. Loved Bob on the Hawks but not so much as a Wang

  4. Reggie Fleming was a popular player in the early 60’s that got a lot of notoriety even though his career was brief with the Hawks.

  5. BOO! No Jerry Korab? Come on! Magnuson was a punching bag and almost always got pummeled. King Kong Korab took care of business out there.

  6. How the hell do you not put Dirk Graham on the list of toughest Blackhawks? He had the C for 6 seasons for a reason. He also won a Selke Award and captained the Hawks to a Stanley Cup Final. He dugged the corners with the best and one of the best penalty killers in the NHL. Ask any Hawk who played from the late 80s to the mid 90s and they'll tell you they'd want protecting their back. It's not a real list without Dirk.

  7. My favorite story about Keith Magnuson came before he ever played a game in the NHL. He enrolled in a karate school, thinking it would help out his big-league fighting,. But, it never occurred to him until he got there that one can't really karate kick while on ice, wearing skates.

Thanks for the Seabrook love. In the last couple of years of his career, he was on the receiving end of a lot of unfair bashing by people who can't separate the contract from the player. I miss that guy. Hjalmarsson, too.
