No one at Top 10 at their position

From a jfresh poll of allegedly “thousands of people”, the Blues don’t have a single player that’s Top 10 at their position.

I mean yeah, it’s not super surprising, who do you think should be there?

I think Buch is probably the same tier as a guy like Kyle Connor, but that’s 10 of 10, and not even a slam dunk.

Would I take Kyrou over Marchy/Pavelski? Probably, but one dude just won playoff MVP, and the other had similar point production. I think Kyrou is similar level to 8-10, but again, not a slam dunk.

    Thomas isn’t top 10, Faulk isn’t top 10, Binner isn’t top 10.

I don’t know what side they technically play on, but you could make an argument for Buchnevich and/or Kyrou being in the top 10 on their respective sides.

Honestly though, the Blues aren’t built around star players. Go look at the 2019 team; I don’t think there is a single player on that team that will even sniff the HOF.

  3. Hockey’s like baseball, though, in that it’s all about overall roster strength. You can’t just rely on a few stars. It’s not the NBA.

I have no idea how strong our roster will be this year. I’m hopeful, but that could be the bourbon talking.
