The Flyers are in the midst of a rebuild, so little is expected of them on the ice this coming season.

  1. Another irrelevant year for flyers fans..

The good news is they have openly committed to a rebuild. rather than the self-destruction they have been mastering over the last 10 years of piss-poor general management

  2. Flyers need to keep Hart.. Should've kept Bob.. Hopefully with the new management they will take some more time with their players.. instead of doing what the former management did and move all kinds of players over the years only to have those traded players go on to win the cup with another team!

  3. They’ll have a bit more cap space than that thankfully. Ellis LTIR is what CapFriendly is referencing. Hopefully they leverage that!

  4. Here’s some of my predictions:

I don’t know how much having coots and Atkinson would help depending on their health obviously.

I think this is a big year for hart (contract wise) if he can have a sv % around .910 2.8 gaa and around 23 wins, I would say it would be a solid year and the flyers should absolutely sign him long term.

I think the flyers would finish around where they finished last season.

They do have two first rounders this upcoming season but Florida’s is top 10 protected but I know they are gonna have a lot of guys recovering so hopefully they missed the playoffs and finished having the 11-16 pick as well as there own.

Forester if he cracks the lineup and if plays all 82 games I’m gonna say he’s scores 17 goals with 50 points if he plays both on the PP and PK.

Flyers trade walker stall seeler and Laughton at the trade deadline.

Our leading goal scorer and leader in points is TK with 34 goals and 68 points.

  5. This is not a good team, not fun brand of hockey to watch…will probably not see too many games….other than Carter Hart which I like even if numbers aren't great.

  6. I've come to really enjoy these season previews as they are winding down. You've done a splendid job. And I love that Flyers jersey.

  7. I wish they had not gotten so many depth players via free agency, and thus could play more of their young prospects, They have the potential of some very good prospects. IF some of them do well and continue to develop, and IF Couts and Atkinson can play close to what they were pre-surgeries, they could see some improvement in their record. Defense is their glaring weakness.
