this is great news for OTT. they are getting a winner in andlauer – he's a successful businessman, is passionate for hockey and has past hockey ownership experience. and most importantly, andlauer has the resources to afford to be a nhl franchise owner.

I have nothing against Galchenyuk going to the KHL, in fact I'm looking forward to him going on Spittin Chicklets sometime in the future and sharing some crazy KHL stories. Still the money must be really good and the main reason he's going as why not go to Sweden, Finland or the Swiss league?

I suspect the offers that the Flames (Conroy) are getting on the soon to be UFA's are all low ball crap. Better off waiting til the trade deadline, even if they're in a playoff position. And they haven't picked up any journeyman NHLer's to fill the bottom lines, so the young guys are going to get a legit opportunity to play this year.

Here's a fun idea for a video: a history video on all the goalies that were named team captain as the list is small since I feel the rule that a goalie can't be captain is a little redictuals. Plus there was a goalie as captain to win a Cup as the captain

Happy now that Andlauer is officially the owner of the Sens. Am cautiously optimistic but not necessarily gung ho over Alfie joining the team. Why? At the end of the day, would like to see competent people in the right roles for the organization. After seeing all those ex-Oiler legends over the past 25-30 years do absolutely nothing for the Oilers I realize Alfie being with the Sens is no guarantee of success. That said, I remain optmistic and believe his incredible work ethic will serve him well in whatever role he takes on,
