I’d be interested to see what a new garden looks like and where it would be, but I think they are possibly underestimating how long it’d take and how hard it is to find another location in NYC

Heres the reality, they don’t care if MSG stays because they don’t make money off of it, hence why they want them gone. NYC needs the money but NOT the upgrades to Penn station. Yes Penn needs upgrades but the post office could have been used years ago, like late 90s, not 2022 whenever it finally reopened.
Getting rid of MSG there does nothing for NYC. By the time they do any upgrades to that train wreck of an underground area, it’ll be 2100.

I’ve never been to MSG or New York for that matter, so this is a genuine question – could they not just build a better station somewhere else on the line? Wouldn’t it be easier than tearing down and relocating a massive sports/entertainment venue? I mean it’s called the world most famous arena. You’d think there would be a better option.
