I mean, I doubt the Atlantic is gonna be harder this year than it was last year(as Tavares claims) but still good to see em saying this. Don’t want them underestimating their opponents.

I’d much rather our captain come in to the season saying it’s going to be more of a challenge and be ready to improve than be complacent and say this year shouldn’t be any harder.

Hm, it’s a tough call. The big boys in terms of Bruins and Tampa are aging and probably not going to see their recent success. But the Red Wings, Buffalo and Sens are quickly getting competitive and the Panthers are a bit of a wildcard.

We are the clear favourites but I wouldn’t be surprised if a team came out of nowhere and overtook us. Thats happened the past 2 seasons so anything can happen.
