Hopefully the kid makes the team, and they trade Copp.
The Wings need some of these youngbloods to step up and take over some of these marginal role player positions that they currently have,
in order to level up in the division..
We don’t have a Tage Thompson type kid in the system.. do we?
We ball baby
You don’t think it’s a playoff or bust season? Dude, if we make the playoffs that will be a shocker. I love where this team is and how it’s building. Stevie’s moves are bang on and we will see a strong young group in 2 – 3 years that will be a contender. Be realistic.
Admittedly it was a tiny sample size but I have a feeling Marco is going to be better than anybody belieces. Hey, I could be wrong, we'll see.
We ball!
It's so cringe that Brian still says "tweeted" like bro It's not Twitter anymore. Get over it.
I would rather see Kasper make the team like, Raymond did. Kasper goes to the net, and he is not a small Kid.
Im hoping Kasper can grow to be the Wings 2C in the coming years. Perhaps an equivalent or better center than Larkin. Detroit still needs a bonafide 2C in the future.
Love the last couple of minutes, watching you both fill time was hilarious! Kasper is ready. He's aggressive, able to read plays, pass lanes, and willing to hit. He is a presence on the ice and controls the flow when he has the puck. This is the kind of guy Yzerman is looking for. Trust in the Yzerplan!
Agree with the kasper/Veleno take, but im slightly higher on the possibility.
Could see Veleno spending a fair bit of time in the press box this year.
Lots of minutes in the ahl is better for a young player, than minimal minutes in the nhl.
However, kasper's position, style of play should help him get some extra minutes.
If he's going to grow into the legit all situations 2c, a rookie season centering the 4th line, with some minutes on the 2nd special teams units is just fine.
12-14 minutes a night is worth keeping he up over sending down.
