I can take a look at some of things he does well and not so well in a April 9, 2016 game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Nice breakdown. Great skater but makes some egregious mental errors that as you say, speak to his lack of hockey IQ.
It's sad, a lot of my fellow Rags fans are expecting him to come in and replace Yandle as the team's go-to puck-moving defenseman.
