Sounds like when AV put Farabee to LHV. It’s a team of vets. Not worried.
Yeah khl will def play vets more. Hope he gets loaned to Sochi so he can get more minutes
I think first and foremost it’s important to point out that this isn’t really a knock on Michkov the player. His underlying numbers in the preseason were fantastic, he scored at a roughly PPG pace and was visibly one of the most dominant players on the ice regularly. KHL clubs always have and always will have trepidations regarding playing young players, and right now this is all that appears to be.
The big question that arises from this is to what extent this will continue, and what course of action will be taken depending on that. He is *way, waaay* too good to play in the MHL, and would probably be the best player in the VHL too. At the same time, I can’t imagine he wants to go to Sochi for a number of factors, and playing 5-10 minutes every other game on SKA isn’t beneficial for anyone involved, including SKA. Just hope that they can find an effective resolution to this quick
