I remember in the NYI-TB series last year there was a tripping penalty called on Hedman when he did something similar, but he even made contact with the puck and changed its direction. This is a little more iffy, as he didn't make puck contact and it would've changed possession, still kinda weak though
Edit: I took another look, uh he was going down before there was any stick contact, definitely not a penalty

Toronto must have been "due" for a penalty so they were going to call anything remotely close to a penalty
