Ty Smith is listed as a guy who can play both sides. Iād put him and POJ on a pair and put Friedman in the press box
Po Joseph With be 3rd pairing with Pycky
Word im getting Penguins staff not that impressed with Smith
PO has the puck luck and should win the JOB.
I 100% agree that best case scenario is bottom pairing of POJ and Smith (Right side) Smith is too good to play in the minors, POJ played too well to bench, it doesnāt matter as much who plays on the bottom because Karlsson and Letang are going to play almost 50 minutes a game, and even with Smithās perceived defensive short comings, heās going to add a lot more than Ruewhedel will because Ruewhedel is going to just play defense
Poj is and was fine. Smith showed he is way more dynamic. Walks the blue line on the power play like a vet. Let them fight it out for the spot or maybe pair them together.
