  1. Reminds me of the goal Jonathon Bernier let in when he played for the Leafs. Same kind of deflection. These types of goals happen when the goalie is in the hot seat.

  2. This is why as a goalie coach I always told my goalies not to go down on one or both knees if the puck isn't within 3 feet of the net. I don't understand what's the point of going down on your knees when the puck is going around the back of the net. What does that do? It's wasted movement and you see so many guys get beat up high nowadays because goalies keep doing the same move.

  3. Honestly can't fault Demko too much on this one but man the Canucks haven't been getting that key save at all since Markstrom been out. Too many soft goals scored against Demko and Domique in these 4 losses and that demoralizing for a team.

  4. pretty decent game by both teams. frustrating AF and VAN has D coverage issues. but overall a good game and either team was within 1-2 lucky bounces of winning — if this was Game 1, both teams playing this way, series would go 7 games.

VAN (or ARI) are both far from being the 'great team' again either was at their peak this year.

But I thought both showed improvement.
