Thanks for the PWHL update–really excited about the ladies having their own league and so much support all around–definitely will support the PWHL as a fan, so good that they've got the initial signings out of the way and are along to the draft. Hopefully, Heinen gets his game back during his PTO with the Bruins. How can the Leafs afford to sign Patrick Kane with no cap space ? Not surprised that Nik Khudobin signed in Russia, BUT, the VHL ? That's a bit of a shocker, it's like the AHL here, still pro hockey, but,…….. Tomas Tatar will end up on a roster somewhere. I don't understand the JG Pageau Hate at all, I'd love to see him with the Blues., I've always liked him as a player.

Re: PWHL….thx for taking time in your reports to cover the women's game. Keep it up. I've enjoyed women's hockey for decades especially the Olympics and the Can-US rivalry. It is very entertaining. Your coverage and that of other hockey podcasters will be necessary to generate interest. Keep it up.
Re: Tatar…..he still has some game left and I watched him in NJ last season and he was really good and had speed and did NOT look out of place. Isles would do well to add Tatar… he'll help that team.

Signing Tartar would be a major slap in the face to Josh Bailey. I doubt this is in the works. I think Parise is in the wings to be a late acquisition. Tartar doesn't make much sense, IMO.
Hopefully, EA Sports ads the PWHL teams in NHL 24.

Allvin and Rutherford are terrible at being cap compliant! How much will OEL buyout effect the team long term? And why sign players before you can make room for them ? Allvin will be dealing from a position of weakness now, and other teams will take advantage of that. Any trade will involve giving up draft picks and/or keeping a portion of salary.
And they still have to convince Pettersson to sign a contract.
Not a good situation in Vancouver long term or short.
Easy solution. Trade Nylander ,get a package sign kane.
Patrick Kane is not what he once was, keeping Nylander as your own rental is a better choice.
honestly, Kane falls to the bottom of the pile for me. To me I just don't care where he ends up. Don't like him.
Really hope they arent wearing full cages in the pwhl and they NEED to add hitting if they want to significantly gain interest in their league. Otherwise it feels like your watching the minor leagues

It's always about Toronto…why would Kane want to go there for 1 rd of the playoffs…he could just go back to the Rangers for that
