  1. Depends on if Detroit is in the run by the time Kaner is ready to go. I still think Buffalo is #1, if Buffalo is out of it and Detroit is in it, then he can go to Detroit.

  2. Pissing off Hawks fans while also improving the top 6?? How could you not want this?

It’s time!! Playoffs baby. Let Stevie cook.

  3. Chicago has turned the page and wants to develop a new leadership group. Kane isn't coming back to Chicago. There might be too many distractions back in Buffalo, so Detroit might be an option depending on how they look 20 games into the season.

  4. Bring IT!!! It would be nice to have another stud on the team 😁🏒🥅 Playoffs.

  5. detroit is gonna be way better then most people think with or without kane guys like fabri n Rasmussen will be back in the lineup along with all the new additions this team could be hard to play against this 2023-24 season keep doubting them should only make them better! 🤷‍♂️🤔👍

  6. Wherever Kaner goes, wishing him nothing but success after what he did for us fans in Chicago throughout his career . I think if he’d been with the Rangers from the beginning of the season last year even at 80% or whatever he was skating at they’d have had a better chance. He didn’t have a lot of time to gel with the new team and I don’t think Gerard Gallant knew what to do with an additional highly skilled but not very physical or defensive player to get the best out of them within that lineup. They should’ve left Kane and Panarin be for a while to gel on a line but they pulled Kane off of his line after 1-2 games. You need a big physical centerman with those two guys and have him work to gain puck possession then watch those guys go to work. As a Hawks fan, I still have a gut instinct to hate Detroit from the old central division days and never thought Kane would want to go there, but if he does…seeing him and Debrincat again would be pretty cool. History just makes it hard for a Hawks fan to root for anyone in the winged wheel. Still holding out hope for Kane coming back to sweet home Chicago but I don’t think that’s what Kyle Davidson wants or has in the plans but who knows. Buffalo would be second on the list for me of where I hope he ends up. Coming back to his hometown to help win a Cup for his childhood team would be pretty special. Knowing he’d want to be in close proximity to Buffalo, I’d say Buffalo, Toronto, or New York make the most sense if his goal is to win a 4th Cup. Toronto he’d have to take a pretty cheap deal I’d assume but that’d be really fun to watch two American boys Matthews and kaner lighting it up in Canada

  7. After watching him in NY… who care where he goes? He's not the player he used to be. I would like to see him with Tage in Buffalo.

  8. Kane’s best days are behind him. Not saying he’s a slouch now or anything, but he’s definitely in the twilight of his career.

  9. If there wasn't as many player on the market right now like Petersson, Nylander, Hellebuyck and Scheifele, he would have had found a team already. Also the fact that he seems to want to get a good paid knowing that he got a hip surgery show me that he might just won't start whit a team up untill he accept to play for a more fair price. I wouldn't give him more than 3m per year because of that surgery and also because next summer there should have alot more player avaible compare to this year on free market.

  10. To the best of my knowledge P. Kane still lives in the Buffalo area. Which makes him well aware of the Sabre's situation. Simply put Kane is a terrible fit for Buffalo because he would hog up valuable ice time to their young developing forwards. While he most likely would improve their PP, he would not be worth it imo. I'm a huge fan of both Kane and the Sabre's but I would bet even Kane would admit Buffalo is the wrong team for him.

  11. Between Buffalo and Detroit – my guess is Detroit has a greater need for offensive capable players…Having DeBrincat as a teammate helps too.
