There is a lot to unpack here. Hair length, Is there a rule? I remembered a incident where a referee got in trouble for making a wrestler cut his dread locks off to the side of the mat. If green was choking and tapping out why did the referee ignore it until he started to hit red in the face? This video was really good by the way lots to learn from it and I heard the referee clearly so I understood what was going on.
Oh. Oh.. please cut off that stringy hair dude.. Looked like granny clampett fighting off the indians. And I saw that green tapped out but the ref ignored it. what a hot mess this was.
Seems to be some sportsmanship issues in this match, mostly coming from red. However, I do think green was playing up the choke hold a bit. My thoughts on the hair… I don't see a problem with long hair, but it is clearly interfering with the match. Ref, at 6:45, seems to be saying "Are you ready to proceed?" Plenty of long-haired wrestlers out there who wear knots, braids, buns or ponytails to keep it out of their way.
