Well, low risk bets aren't a terrible idea, best case is he's another Mikheyev and they can either bolster the lineup or flip a player for something more, worst case is a minuscule cap hit and a healthy scratch.

I don’t understand this signing and why it is even news worthy. He had a 0.5 ppg stat line this season in the KHL. He seems to be a 2nd liner on the Marlies at best
Hes really good player I can see why they got him he was cheap but very skilled and I think hes more skilled than Kapanen for shore!. But this team needs to go out and get a defence someone like Dustin Bufuligehn that's gonna be the man on the team and can wake them up some more like when for an example when Toronto is gonna loose you kind of can tell when there gonna loose because for another example when Morgan Riely saw McDavid with the puck Riely should tryed to be on him instead of just skating backwards. When another team is on Torontos side the defence dont try at what's so ever with no effort at all the other team would have around 40 shots on the Leafs and they Leafs wouldn have like 19 shots or 25 something stupid like that I wouldnt care if Riely was traded I want someone that's gonna be the man someone that every team wants as a defenceman
Forwards please note it is Reilly who carries the puck by himself and shoots by himself at net from impossible angles , he needs no one , so if this forward could play D then we are in business.
