After a second look and seeing the start…a little more credit for Bortuzzo letting up on an overmatched fighter as Caron jumped the gun and dropped gloves quickly.
carons not a fighter & was literally fighting to keep his spot on the team. as a matter of fact he was sent down to providence that very night & Spooner was brought up. hes only there due 2 the injury to Eriksson anyways. so i wouldnt get too excited about this fight if you happen to be a Pens fan. Caron is / was a terrible 1st rd pick, id say the worst ive seen in a while but thatd be Zac Hamill chosen 8th overall by Bruins (1 spot before Logan Coture) great game 2bad most of b's fans missed it
They both landed one good punch. But as a bruins fan Caron kind of catches bortuzzo off gaurd cause Caron I think had one fight before in the NHL maybe? So he didn't really follow the "code" there but either way Caron is slow as dicks so glad the bruins called up spooner to play instead.
Some kid saying mcquaids fighting resume isn't that good? Have you even looked he's always dropping with tough guys. And this is after he dropped like 40 pounds cause of a blood clot disease that nearly killed him to start last season.
bortuzzo was good at the start then he started going slow then that allowed Caron to punch him like 7 times after words the bortuzzo started swinging again but he was missing my opinion is Caron won but that's mine not yours
