I heard Norris's shoulder looked perfectly fine on the golf course, i known it's notbthe same as playing hockey, but it's a good sign!
Norris having a healthy season is obviously most important, but having a more well rounded game is something he said he wanted to improve before last season. Let's see how he does coming back into action

When it comes to the PP. we have enough fire power on this team that we should have two units to get roughly a minute each. Whichever unit scores, starts the next power-play, Being on the second unit might be an advantage because they will be playing against the 2nd PK.
I'm glad that Giroux and Batherson are both willing to play their offside wing. It allows the Senators to experiment with different lines for the top 6. While keeping everyone happy. I think that they are going to use:
Tkachuk-Stutzle-Tarasenko
Giroux-Norris-Batherson
But if it doesn't work out, then it allows them to keep the:
Tkachuk-Stutzle-Giroux
line together, while:
Batherson-Norris-Tarasenko play on the 2nd line.
Don’t forget, Drake Batherson wasn’t 100% (ankle) until mid season.

They’ve got these outsider forwards signed and not pinto. Dorion might have misplayed this.
Hey guys love the show. Been a hockey fan all my life. Been a Sens fan since they took my $25 for Seasons tickets pre sale. I was wondering why doesn't Dorion offer a (Bonus) contract to Pinto You offer him a 1 year contract for $800 000 plus bonuses (500k for 10 goals + 500k if he plays 10 games etc bring him in the 3M range for the year) That way bonuses are paid the following year and will not be on the cap this year. Then offer Pinto a great deal next year.
Josh Norris is the contract I dislike the most. And this was before the injury. Just always saw him as a good second liner, and not needing Bradly like money. He should (IMHO) be like a 5-6 guy. But hey I'm no GM. We can't sign every good player to 8 mill contracts. Having said that I hope he makes me eat my words and scored 35+ year after year
Josh is still Ottawas #1 center Timmy is their best player for sure but faceoffs aren't there yet.

Yes! Josh Norris is a Gigantic X-Factor. Considering the length and the amount dedicated in salary along with the injury makes this #1 on the x-factor list. Goal-tending is #2 and DJ Smith's Job/Abilities is #3.

I think 25 goals and 50-60 points would be a successful season for him. That’s sort of where my expectations are at. He has good talent around him and he’s a quality player so should be ok to exceed that but the pressure on him is absolutely massive so I’m trying to manage my expectations
