Other than Alain Vigneault from recent memory, I don’t think I’ve seen a Canucks coach come as prepared as Tocchet.

Damn, was hoping it would be a lot longer. I like Tochett so far, a lot.

I wanted to know what the four pillars were. Come on.

It feels like the management has a really steady solid foundation. Something about Benning and when they got rid of Linden nothing felt cohesive.

In the last 10 years with this management group and players it feels like we are going to start really pushing forward.

  4. The Canucks coaching staff is stacked with extremely successful veterans.

  5. Was pretty sad about Brucie getting the boot… But watching this I feel assured by Tocchet.

It’s really hard to not like Tocchet.

Tocchets gonna get fired halfway thru the season and Peterson is not going to re-sign here

I remember on Donnie and Dhali they were discussing how much they love hearing Tocchet speak, everyone seems very impressed by him.

But they also raised the point that players have all worked pretty hard this summer to be ready for camp because they might feel a bit intimidated by him, which is not necessarily a bad thing. From what we’ve seen, he seems to have that balance of being an intense coach with his clear methods but also a “players coach”
