  1. You're a legend Bakes. As a Sabres fan, hockey fan, and prospect "nerd" you are the best! Love hearing your takes!

  2. I think there’s a perception that Kulich’s Draft +1 season moved him ahead of Savoie & Ostlund, and it mostly has to do with his taking advantage of having the opportunity to play in the AHL, against a known and consistent level of competition.

Panocha, like most; if not all; European players; defensemen in particular; has to adjust to how much faster decisions have to be made on the narrower, North American ice. He’ll see more and quicker pressure, and less time & space in the Q than he’s used to.

  3. Love the format and content, Kris. This is a big step up. Wondering why Keohane won't be at prospect camp given that he missed July and likely won't be available the next few Septembers. Chicoutimi is a perfect landing spot for Panocha to develop. Noticed Kulich switched from 27 to 20 (thanks Devon) – maybe a nod to Prospal? Wish I could watch the Malmo Vaxjo game this Sat – can't figure out how to do it.

  4. I watched Panocha at PC over the summer. Sorry to say I was not impressed. He looked like a rag doll and made to many errant passes and mistakes. But I see he is a good skater. I realize he is a 7th round pick so hopefully our elite coaching staff can coach him up.

  5. The real question surrounding Benson is simple…is Buffalo so desperate that they need to push him into becoming an NHL'er right away? The answer, of course, is NO! They know they can wait and let him develop on his own pace. Benson won't see the NHL this year unless a massive injury bug strikes the team. Thus, he knows he can go to training camp and have fun, and not be under the normal pressure that younger players have when hoping to start their careers. Buffalo's future is bright, including Benson's!

  6. Do junior teams even have weight rooms and trainers? None of the guys going to the AHL are ever in top shape

  7. Kris I love your videos on the Sabres Prospects. I’d listen everyday if you posted everyday. I just listened to this video at work. 30 mins flew by. Keep making videos!!!! Great job
