The bikes that are winning gravel races these days are basically 90's hardtails with a bit more of a racing geometry and modern groupsets.
So the logical answer to the bike industry fleecing people for thousands is to take a decent 90's hardtails, throw a good wide drop bar with aero clampons for lots of hand positions and a pair of cyclocross style interrupter brakes on the flats for MTB style handling when you need it, and get a secondhand or Chinese groupset from the last 10 years with lots of range for cheap, hell even keep the triple crank up front and switch it to a friction shifter and keep the indexing in the back so you can trim in all the different positions. Buy all your parts from the local community bike co-op garage and you're laughing.
I would have had to ask the guy with the blinking red light to turn it off for the offroad part of the ride. The 90's bikes have proven they can stand up to the test of time. They are rugged.
Looks like Trek 7000 w marbled paint on green decals. Cant find that kinda style on new stuff thats for sure. Easton Program bonded frames are proving themselves to be quite durable over time. Thanks for sharing!

The blinking red light distracts me from watching this video.
