Happy Monday, Seattle hockey fans!
As requested on Twitter (or X), Locked on Kraken host Erica L. Ayala is going to offer two criteria for the next Seattle Kraken captain. You might be surprised to hear who makes the cut and who doesn’t.
Next, Erica introduces listeners to the newest Seattle Kraken defenseman, Mitch Reinke. He will likely remain with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, so what does this mean for players like Ryker Evans?
Finally, Erica introduces a new segment! Buying or selling!
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Are you buying or selling that the Seattle Kraken will earn more than 100 points in the 2023-24 NHL season?

The Canucks once made Goalie Roberto Luongo their unofficial captain as it is not allowed officially. It was very controversial and in hindsight wasn’t a great idea.
My gut says sell. Something like a sophomore slump even though it’s the third year. i do think the team will be in the higher 90s points wise though.
No disrespect to Eberle, but nobody exemplifies the heart and tenacity of The Kraken than Yanni Gourde.
