Damn! We’re always looking for size up front and we’re going to trade a guy who’s 200 feet? You can’t draft size like that!

If Dach solidifies himself as a 2C and Beck has a good AHL year, I’m more than happy to trade Dvo and have Beck slot in as 3C (or 4C behind Evans or something if needed). Dvo + some D prospects/futures to a contender for a promising young forward with top-six potential feels like such a Hughes-type trade.

I have a feeling Dvo might be traded next summer, to let Beck cook another year. Plus at 50% retained next summer Dvo will be a good value for lots of teams.

I guess it depends if they want to give Newhook time to be tested on the wings top 6 and if Monahan can stay healthy. We have C depth but if/when injuries happen, he still can be needed here.

  4. In no world is Dvorak a great 3rd liner center. Still I’m Hughes appreciates the hype.

    Take my Dvo… please!

No way we get much for him.

  6. A 200 foot centre? as like good defensively? Is this a joke?

In the last two years, of all habs forwards that have played over 1,000 minutes, [Dvorak has the worst xGA per 60 at 5v5 after Pitlick](https://www.naturalstattrick.com/playerteams.php?fromseason=20212022&thruseason=20222023&stype=2&sit=5v5&score=all&stdoi=oi&rate=y&team=MTL&pos=F&loc=B&toi=500&gpfilt=none&fd=&td=&tgp=410&lines=single&draftteam=ALL), while facing the [lowest quality of competition](http://puckiq.com/woodmoney?positions=clr&team=mtl&group_by=player&min_toi=1000&from_date=1633060800000&to_date=1694923200000). All the stats model available demonstrate awful defensive results. I’d be extremely suprised if he has positive value.
