Penguins Clearout Day: Tristan Jarry wants to stay, but no GM to begin negotiations…

  1. The interesting thing about Tristan is that he is very capable of being a good goalie and he has been an All-Star a couple of times in his career, so it is easy to place much of the blame on him, but he did admit to not being 100% for much of the season and that would make a big difference in his performance. It will be interesting to see whether he will be back next year, or the Pens might go in another goaltending direction.

  2. No way your getting $36million for 6 years in Pittsburgh not even 1/3 of that. And it’s not just being hurt. Missing games. Missing practice it’s not letting a ton of goals in. And if you were so hurt why did you play the last game which was totally meaningless?

  3. Only consistent thing to his pro career has been the injuries. He can be a great goalie when he is healthy, but just like the Leafs learned with Murray, a great goalie is no good if he is always hurt.

  4. Jarry is soo operated. An AHL Goalie at best. That kid needs to toughen up and stop the excuses on why he can't handle the net in the clutch. Time for Jarry to go!!

  5. Has a ton of potential, want to see him develop his confidence and play with a much stronger defense in front of him to really help out the way it truly should.
Really wanna see him continue to grow as a goalie. Would love if that could happen here with the Pens!!!
